How to Use Equipel

Step 1

Place your bags of Equipel evenly across the stable floor.

We recommend using 1-1.5 bags per square meter. So if your stable is 4x3m use 12 bags OR use 18 bags.

This will provide 80-120mm of soft absorbent bedding.

Top up with 1-2 bags per week.

Once your bags are evenly spaced across the stable, use a utility knife and cut the bags from corner to corner, making an 'X'.

Add 7.5l of water to each bag and watch the magic happen.

Wait about 10 minutes for the pellets to expand. Once they have expanded, empty the bags out.

Rake the piles of bedding into a flat, deep bed.

Let your horse enjoy.
